Hi, my name is Jim McCarty and I work as a full-time session drummer in the Los Angeles area recording custom drum tracks for songwriters and music producers locally and worldwide using the Internet. I also have a catalogue of Drum and Bass Backing Tracks for performing musicians and students as well as pre-recorded Songwriter Drum Tracks to help inspire songwriters in their creative process.

When recording custom drum tracks, I'm quick, reliable, and work well with Internet-based studio recording. To insure your satisfaction, I provide .mp3s for you to preview my work on your song. Should you require changes to the drum track, I'll make them to your specifications and send another .mp3 for your approval. Once you are completely satisfied with the track, I will send or upload the processed stereo drum mix and the un-processed mono drum files (usually around 11) in the file format that you require - all for a reasonable price.

In addition to having a great sounding kit and drum room, I use classic Neve and API mic preamps, as well as AKG, Sennheiser, EV, and Shure mics for the best possible drum sound.
