Hi, my name is Jim McCarty and I work as a full-time session drummer in the Los Angeles area recording custom drum tracks for songwriters and music producers locally and worldwide using the Internet. I also have a catalogue of Drum and Bass Backing Tracks as well as pre-recorded Songwriter Drum Tracks to help inspire songwriters in their creative process.

I take time with every song I work on to produce a drum track that is exactly what you envisioned. If changes are required to my track, they are made to your specifications until you are completely satisfied. Once I have your approval, the drum files are uploaded to my FTP server for download. These files include a stereo drum mix as well as the un-processed mono files (24 bit resolution @ 44.1k, 48k or 96k, .wav or .aif). In addition to having a great sounding drum room and a customized recording kit, I use classic Neve and API mic preamps, as well as AKG, Sennheiser, EV, and Shure mics for the best possible drum sound.
