Note: My style of recording percussion is simple. In some cases, it's to give differentiation to a section without changing the drum set groove and sometimes it's to accentuate a track with fills (i.e. colorful sounds, bongos, timbales). Either way, my goal is to create parts that enhance your song while blending in with a colorful vibe that you don't always notice from your first listen.
