In my catalog, there are also current and classic BALLADS, BLUES and BLUES ROCK songs, COUNTRY, as well as JAZZ STANDARDS and other styles of songs with new tracks being added weekly.
Drum and Bass Backing Tracks are unlike most backing tracks in that these recordings are of real players (with no midi or sequencing) - giving you the sound and feel of a "live" band. As the instrumentation is strictly real drums, percussion and real bass guitar, these tracks will keep you from sounding like "karaoke" which can happen when using full-production backing tracks. Another difference is that these stereo tracks have the drums panned to the left and the bass panned to the right to allow: Greater flexibility in your mix, A bass player to be added the band simply by muting the bass channel, A drummer to be added to the band by sending the left side to a pair of headphones for him/her to use as a click track, Key transpositions of the bass guitar to be made without affecting the tone of the drums. "Drums Only" Tracks are available (for most songs) without the bass. Available in .mp3 format (192 kbps) for download. Some songs available only on Audio CD. Note that all tracks follow the arrangement of the artist listed in the catalog. For songs that "faded out" there are distinct endings that are easy to follow and perform with. For songs that did not have drums in the intro, middle or ending, I've recorded a hi-hat, ride cymbal, and/or an appropriate percussion track to keep time in a musical fashion until the full drum and/or bass pattern comes in.
